This watercolour paint set of six colours includes Guava, Pistachio, Hydrangea, Lychee, Iris and Solar Flare. These six metallic watercolours paints are made using chrome pigment. These colour shift paints have multiple colours visible when looking at them from different angles and even look different on black and white paper. Created from a combination of the highest quality pigments and our very own handmade binder. This highly pigmented paint is ultra-vibrant, producing rich and beautiful results.
Our paint activates quickly so you can start creating a few seconds after you wet the solid block of paint. From the moment the paint glides onto the page you will love the buttery consistency of our paint, making them a dream to paint with. Our shimmer paints are the perfect choice for creating beautiful highlights in your watercolour paintings. You can use them on their own or with regular watercolours. The combination of high pigment content from professional quality pigment powders ensures exceptional brightness in your artwork.
Our half pans are filled with between 1.8 – 2 mils of paint. The pans hold 1.8mils when filled level with the pan edge but we like to over fill them. Our generously overfilled pans will actually have between 1.8 – 2 mils of paint (sometimes more) this will insure you have plenty of shimmering paint for your next creative project.
All of our paint is lovingly handmade on a glass slab using a glass muller. Paints are hand mixed and mulled. The hand mulling process takes between 40min and approximately 3 hours, depending on the pigment. We then fill our pans in four layers, each having a drying time of one - two weeks. As a result of this process our paints are highly concentrated in pigment and produce saturated colours that are smooth and a pleasure to paint with.
These paints are amazing! They are bright, sparkly and so beautiful to use. The pans are extremely full as well. I've ordered many times and am never disappointed. Everything always comes so gorgeously packaged and also includes a few freebie samples. Thank you Connie
