This watercolour paint set of six colours includes Hydra Poison, Dragons Breath, Unicorn Blood, Siren Song, Sprite Wings and Vampire Venom. These colour shift paints have a sparkling shimmer to them and multiple colours visible when looking at them from different angles the colour pay off is excellent and the colourshift is striking. Created from a combination of the highest quality pigments and our very own handmade binder. This highly pigmented paint is ultra-vibrant, producing rich and beautiful results.
Each Half pan holds 1.8mils of paint and is over filled. Each Quarter pan holds 1mils of paint and is over filled. Each circle pan holds 0.5mils of paint and is over filled.

I’ve always wanted to create an apothecary collection. Over the years, as I’ve created paint and watched the colours shift and transform as I mix and mull them, I’ve often thought that what I’m doing feels a little like creating magic.
One of my favourite parts of making colour is washing up afterwards. As I clean my brushes in water, I love watching the colours swirl and sparkle as they twist and turn through the pot. I’m sure you’ve noticed just how beautiful the water can become when you’re cleaning up after using colourshift paints.
I often find myself watching those swirling colours and thinking, this looks like a witch’s brew. The colours twist and twirl, change and transform, rolling into one another and creating something completely unexpected.
That was where this collection began. I wanted to capture that feeling of magic and alchemy that I’ve experienced while making paint over the years and turn it into a collection inspired by the mysterious ingredients you might find tucked away in an old apothecary.
And so, The Apothecary Collection was born. - Connie
