This advent calendar of watercolour paint is made up of 24 all new limited edition colours. It's the gift that will continue to give all year round to the artist in your life. The pans used in this set are quarter pan which hold 1mil of paint and are over filled.

This is a PREORDER and will be sent out in the first week of NOVEMBER

If you order other products from us today along with this Preorder please note all items will be sent together when this order is sent out in November. If you want other products sooner please put through two seperate orders.

The colours available in this watercolour palette are all new and exclusive to the 2024 Christmas Collection. We have not made our advent calendar with any of the colours in our regular collection of paints. We have hand mixed and made an exclusive collection of limited edition colours to bring you this very special gift this Christmas.

The paints shown here are of last years calendar and although the colours have not yet been revealed, I can tell you that in this set of 24 colours there are 8 colour shift paints, which change colour depending on the angle of the light hitting them, and 16 shimmer colours which also include a few duo-chromes. It's a great set!

Our sticker this year included an artwork by the artist Whiskey Rabbit.

Two of our advent calendars will include a golden ticket and the lucky two winners will receive a $500AUD voucher to spend in store!

Due to the handmade nature of our business our advent calendars are all hand wrapped so if you are the kind of person who wants to open all your paints on the day you receive them you can just order the set "unwrapped as set of paint" or if you are here for the christmasy goodness of an advent calendar please order it as "wrapped as advent calendar" ether way your set will come beautifully gift wrapped in our sparkly wrapping paper.

A limited number of these set have been made and unfortunately due to the time it takes to make our paint when they are sold out we will not be able to restock this item again in time for Christmas.

Awesome and stunning

If you aren’t in Australia be sure to allow for customs delays in Australia as well as your country, but it is well worth it! The advent calendar had some of all the types of paint. I swatched them on white paper and then both black and sepia paper. This brought out all the amazing colors and iridescence in the paints. Looking forward to exploring all the possibilities in the coming weeks.

2023 Advent Calendar Paints

It was fun to open each ‘paint pot’ and find out the color that matched its name. The package arrived from Australia to USA in perfect condition and each color is absolutely beautiful!
Side note: I add water to the ‘paint pots’ but they dry very quickly. I have a little paint palette and I tried using that with additional water and paint and noticed that some of the paints separate - after a minute or so, the shimmer sinks to the bottom of the tiny puddle of water and I have to continually stir the puddle in order to combine the shimmer. Could I be using it incorrectly? If so, any input/direction would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for your review, I appreciate you taking the time to write one. Getting the hang of shimmer and colour shift water colour paint can be a bit of a learning curve compared to traditional watercolours. They do work a little different. They defiantly are heavier pigments and will sink and seperate from the water if allowed to sit on a seperate palette. Our paints are made to activate quickly so you don't need to allow water to sit in top of the pots, you can just dip a wet brush into the paint you want to use and it will pick up the paint ready for use. When starting out it can be good to use them with a little less water and use them as an opaque highlights or as a wash over your traditional watercolours. But having said that I have seen people use them in so many different ways and create many different effects in their artwork. Awesome colors in fine quality

My wife loves these colors and I enjoy her paintings which got very shiny with these colors.

This was by far the best advent calendar I've ever gotten. Every day was a delight to open and now I have a set of beautiful colors to play around with. I will hopefully buy another next year
